The role requires five or more years of related kitchen experience, knife skills, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in a similar kitchen role.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask under pressure.
• Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
• Knife skills and basic kitchen equipment training.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow departmental policies and restaurant rules as set forth in employee handbook and by management.
• Report any maintenance or repairs to the Executive Chef.
• Prevent the spoiling and contamination of foods by proper sanitation practices and health regulations.
• Know and comply with standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including all equipment.
• Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to the guests.
• Execution of each menu item as specified and presentation agreed upon.
• Ensure timely production of food and staff education on the menu.
• Assist in daily cleaning of pantry, cooking line, prep kitchen, dish area, stairs, walk-in and prep area.
