Job summary

NeoGenomics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (LIMS) to advance our in-house Laboratory Information Management System. You will design, develop, review, and maintain scalable, high-performance software using C#, .NET Framework, RESTful APIs, and microservices, with a focus on reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance.

This hybrid role requires two days per week in the office. Collaborate with product managers, QA, and stakeholders to define requirements, implement workflows,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field.
• 7+ years of .NET software development.
• Healthcare/LIMS experience required.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Design, configure, and maintain LIMS workflows, sample lifecycles, tests, and specifications.
• Develop and support custom configurations, scripts, rules, and extensions.
• Configure and optimize laboratory processes such as sample logging, testing, results entry, review, and approval.
• Integrate LIMS with laboratory instruments and other lab applications.
