Job summary

The Kendall Group is seeking a Lighting Manager to lead the lighting construction sales and project team, accountable for department strategy, staffing, financial performance, and successful project execution. This role reports to the General Manager and focuses on developing employees, setting priorities, and driving cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

10 years of experience in lighting design, electrical distribution or as a contractor.
High School diploma or GED.
Proficient in MS Office; intermediate Excel usage.
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Highly organized with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the lighting construction sales and project team and manage department strategy.
Set priorities, staffing, and align goals with Kendall Electric objectives.
Oversee department budgets, revenue, gross margin, expenses, and backlog.
Maintain strategic relationships with customers, vendors, contractors, and manufacturer reps.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety expectations.
