Job summary

The Freeman Company is hiring a Lighting Project Designer to plan and coordinate lighting for produced events. You will act as the local expert on gear and tech, educating staff and interfacing with branches to optimize resources.

The role supports the Audio Visual & Event Technology team, with in-person, full-time hours in Las Vegas, Seattle, or other locations as needed. Requires extensive lighting production experience and strong DMX knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in lighting production with 5 years on corporate/events/theatre.
• Ability to engineer instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Strong knowledge of lighting systems, DMX, and power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate lighting requirements for produced events.
• Develop lighting designs and coordinate pre-, onsite, and post-production activities.
• Create wiring diagrams and lighting plots based on budget.
