Job summary

Clark Nexsen is seeking a Lighting Practice Leader to spearhead lighting design efforts across diverse projects. You will guide designers, collaborate with engineers and PMs, and ensure documentation from concept through completion adheres to client specifications and codes.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, LC certification or IALD membership, and strong leadership with CAD/Revit proficiency. In-office position in Virginia Beach with broad project exposure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience is required.
• Lighting Certified (LC) and/or IALD Design Member or higher.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate Lighting Practice Leader documentation and lighting plans.
• Lead designers and collaborate with engineers and PMs through concept to completion.
• Coordinate projects with Local, City, State, and County codes and officials.
• Design complex projects using CAD/3D tools while illustrating design intent.
• Manage multidisciplinary Revit models to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Review production documents for quality control and coordinate with disciplines.
