Job summary

Clark Nexsen is seeking a Lighting Practice Leader to oversee lighting design across a variety of projects. You will coordinate with engineers and PMs from concept through completion, lead designers, and ensure high-quality drawings and specifications that meet client needs.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, LC/IALD credentials, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, AGI32, and COMCheck. It offers an opportunity to mentor a growing team within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Lighting Certified (LC) and/or IALD Design Member or higher.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, AGI32, COMCheck.
• Ability to lead and mentor designers within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with Local, City, State, and County codes and officials.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and sub-consultants to produce drawings and specs.
• Design complex projects using CAD software to illustrate design intent.
• Manage multidisciplinary Revit models ensuring accuracy across disciplines.
• Lead, mentor, and manage team members to support growth and development.
