Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a Sr Life Underwriting Business Systems Analyst to drive life underwriting system transformations and partner across Life Underwriting, New Business, Operations, Product, Technology and QA. You will gather requirements, model processes, and design automated solutions that strengthen underwriting operations.

The role combines business analysis with project coordination, offers remote work, and a salary range of 85,000–100,000 USD annually plus a potential annual bonus

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis.
2-4 years of industry experience also preferred.
Two years of experience managing technical projects in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

Support underwriting transformation focusing on modernization and automation.
Gather requirements with stakeholders and align IT on goals.
Prepare as-is and current-state process documentation.
Model business processes using BPM techniques.
Lead development of new or revised processes.
Translate underwriting needs into clear system requirements.
Contribute to testing by providing scenarios and criteria.
Coordinate readiness activities and training materials.
