Job summary

Corebridge Financial is seeking a Director of Life Underwriting responsible for underwriting new life applications with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate will have over 5 years of experience in life underwriting and a strong understanding of brokerage distribution.

This remote position includes a competitive salary range of $118,000 to $128,000, dependent on qualifications and experience, along with various benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of life underwriting experience, handling larger cases.
• Required approval authority up to $7,000,000.
• Demonstrated superior technical underwriting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex applications with independent decision-making.
• Analyze and interpret complex medical and financial information.
• Organize and manage a large caseload.
