Job summary

ELIQUENT Life Sciences seeks a Corporate Counsel to support the business through review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial agreements with clients, vendors, and partners. The role serves as a trusted advisor on legal, regulatory, data privacy, and risk matters across the organization.

You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and align legal strategies with corporate objectives. A J.D.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law.
• 5-7 years of experience negotiating commercial transactions and agreements, including law firm and/or in-house experience.
• Experience in data privacy, corporate law, and employment law.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex commercial contracts and vendor agreements.
• Research and advise on a wide variety of legal and corporate issues.
• Support corporate governance, data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage litigation holds and responses to subpoenas.
• Develop, implement, and maintain legal frameworks, templates, policies, and training.
