Turner & Townsend, a global professional services firm, is seeking a Senior Controls Manager to oversee multi-disciplinary commercial real estate solutions within Building Consultancy. This role emphasizes cost management, pre-bid cost estimating, and cost planning for major projects.

You will partner with large project teams, align cost plans with schedules, review bid responses, and drive improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical facilities preferred.
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Advanced math skills and financial calculations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of cost management for multiple real estate projects.
• Assess complex project scopes and client needs to develop budgets for pre-bid and pre-construction cost estimating and cost planning services.
• Partner with large project teams to source and oversee pre-bid and pre-construction services for the development of a project budget and cost plan.
• Work with the client and Sr. Project Managers to ensure all work is funded in compliance with the client's internal policies.
• Ensure all contracts include required language aligned with lease requirements for the solicitation of all landlord contributions.
• Review and report all bid responses to the client. Include recommendations for items such as high-value allowances, contingencies, and reserves.
• Align cost plan with project master schedule. Establish a strategy to manage cash flows and project accruals and report progress.
• Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
• Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
• Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
• Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
