Job summary

ARCO Companies is seeking a Superintendent with 5+ years as a lead superintendent on life sciences construction projects. The role oversees field operations, enforces safety and quality standards, and directs craft superintendents to bring projects to successful completion on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include preplanning, scheduling, manpower planning, equipment allocation, quantity estimates, change orders, and coordination with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years experience as a lead superintendent on life sciences construction projects.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs.
• Current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Attend post award review meetings to receive project information and preplanning details.
• Prepare construction activity schedules and resource plans with the project manager.
• Ensure adequate manpower to meet construction schedules and coordinate subcontractors.
• Direct and control total construction to meet specs, time, and budget.
• Maintain safety and quality control policies across the project site.
• Report progress to the project manager and document changes or issues affecting costs or schedules.
