Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced project leader to supervise the field construction of a large or complex project in Walnut Creek, CA. You will plan, schedule, and ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality standards, coordinating with owners, designers, and subcontractors.

The role requires deep knowledge of building systems, cost control, and BIM/Lean approaches, with a track record on substantial $50M+ projects. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 15 years of building construction related experience required.
• Experience delivering large complex $50M+ life science, pharmaceutical, or biotech construction projects.
• Proficient in all aspects of building systems and related documentation.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, cost control procedures, and project accounting.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with owners/architects/engineers for day-to-day construction activities.
• Lead and develop Superintendents and staff; participate in performance appraisals.
• Develop project setup, site logistics, and work schedules; manage critical path.
• Ensure safety program compliance and manage subcontractor relationships.
• Oversee WIP billing, estimates, and payments to maintain budget and cash flow.
