Job summary

Asbury Methodist Village is seeking a Lifestyle Enrichment Professional to support well-being and recreational activities for residents. You will implement and adapt activity programs, following treatment plans, and work with the Well-Being Director to promote physical, social, and emotional health.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily activities, developing calendars with flexible coverage, and engaging with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of Therapeutic Recreation or human services experience preferred.
• Experience with geriatric residents in long-term care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Well-being and recreational Lifestyle Enrichment as assigned in treatment plans or activity schedule by the coordinator or director.
• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of the facility.
• Ensure care plans are used for daily Lifestyle Enrichment and promote resident well-being.
• Develop and maintain rapport with residents, family members, and other departments.
• Offer residents a variety and choice of daily activities; coordinate evening/weekend hours as needed.
• Report complaints or grievances to the Coordinator; participate in community outings and enrichment activities.
