Job summary

The Avalon of Bloomfield Township, part of LCS (Life Care Services), is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, schedule, and coordinate activities that support residents' physical, mental, and social well-being.

This full-time role requires weekend work; starting pay is $19.00 per hour, experience with seniors preferred, and responsibilities include calendar planning, event coordination, and facilitating enriching programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, scheduling, and coordinating resident activities including monthly events.
• Promote a healthy community culture for residents and staff.
• Provide educational opportunities in disease prevention and wellness for residents and staff.
• Lead daily resident activities per community standards.
• Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars.
• Plan and execute diverse programs for a diverse resident population.
• Schedule will be Sunday - Thursday and assist with resident transportation.
