Job summary

Rhoda Goldman Plaza in San Francisco is seeking a full-time Life Enrichment Assistant to support daily activities and special events for residents. You will help plan, organize, and execute programs, set up spaces, and ensure materials are ready for varied activities.

You will engage residents in games, crafts, exercise, and trips, fostering a welcoming environment with exceptional hospitality and professionalism. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with seniors is preferred.
• Must undergo a Physical exam and TB screening with negative results.
• Background check clearance or exemption approval is required.
• Read and sign SOC341A Report of Suspected Abuse of a Dependent Elder

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Life Enrichment in planning and organizing daily activities and outings.
• Set up activity areas and prepare materials and equipment.
• Engage residents in games, arts, crafts, exercise, and outings, adapting to individual needs.
• Maintain a welcoming, hospitable environment and provide professional interactions.
• Lead social events and assist residents with transportation and mobility as needed.
