Job summary

StoryPoint is hiring a Life Enrichment Assistant to help plan and execute activities for residents at our senior living community. The role emphasizes compassionate care and supports the Life Enrichment Director in program development and daily operations.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of related experience, is flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and can work independently or with a team while maintaining resident safety and program quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction, planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department.
• Supports the Life Enrichment Director and Life Enrichment Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support in proper setup, clean up, and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Support transportation by attending outings, coordinating relevant administrative tasks, and upholding safety practices.
• Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.
