Job summary

Roseville Care Center is seeking a compassionate and energetic part-time Activities Assistant to support the Activity Director in creating meaningful programs for residents in Roseville, CA. You’ll help plan activities, maintain calendars, and encourage participation to enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, schedules, and written instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with residents, families, coworkers, and management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including percentages, ratios, fractions, and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and conducting activities for residents.
• Maintain monthly activity calendar.
• Encourage participation and engagement.
• Help arrange transportation for outings and discharges.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, managers.
• Assist with Quality Assurance activities and follow-up plans as requested.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
