Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, organize, and direct individual and group programs for residents. You will promote programs and encourage participation to support social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs.

The role involves designing creative activities, planning a monthly calendar, and acknowledging residents' celebrations while ensuring regulatory compliance and budget adherence. Weekend/evening hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Rec Therapist, COTA education and/or experience in teaching or nursing preferred.
• Certification by NCCAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee individual and group programs daily.
• Design and lead engaging activities reflecting residents' needs and interests.
• Develop and distribute monthly Life Enrichment schedules.
• Acknowledge residents' birthdays, anniversaries and accomplishments.
• Oversee budget and ensure costs stay within guidelines.
• Ensure programs meet state, federal and other regulations.
• Drive residents to outside activities as needed; assist groups as required.
