Job summary

West Chester Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, is seeking an Activities Assistant to create engaging programs that enrich residents' social, emotional, and physical well-being. This role offers full-time and part-time opportunities with a flexible schedule and daily pay, paying $15–$22 per hour.

You will document participation and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in an Activities Department or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment for residents.
• Document resident participation and engagement in scheduled activities and programs.
• Promote residents' well-being through activities and interactions.
• Plan, develop, organize, and implement recreational, social, educational, and community-based programs.
• Build relationships with residents and encourage participation based on interests.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care goals.
• Observe changes in mood/participation and communicate with the team.
• Assist with events, setup, and transportation to activities and events.
