Webster Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center seeks an Activities Assistant to create engaging programs for residents. The role emphasizes enriching daily life through social, physical, and cognitive activities within a 110-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care setting.

Responsibilities include planning, documenting participation, and collaborating with the care team to meet individual resident goals, while ensuring safety and compassionate interactions every day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in an Activities Department or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Document resident participation and engagement in activities.
• Plan and implement recreational, social, educational, and community programs.
• Build relationships and encourage participation based on individual interests.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care goals.
• Escort and transport residents to activities safely as needed.
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain activity records.
