Oasis at Crescent, a welcoming assisted living community in New Jersey, seeks an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to support our life-enrichment team in creating engaging programs that inspire residents and foster connection.

Full-time role includes planning daily activities and outings, coordinating calendars and logistics, driving to events when needed, and collaborating with the Activities Director. Requires a high school diploma or GED; CPR/First Aid and dementia certification preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; related coursework is a plus.
• Experience with seniors in activities or caregiving preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Certified Dementia Practitioner preferred.
• Creative, energetic, and organized with strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable leading group activities and one-on-one sessions.

Mansioni

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading a variety of daily activities, events, and outings for residents
• Foster resident participation and engagement with a warm, inclusive approach
• Help create monthly activity calendars and coordinate logistics (materials, transportation, staffing)
• Willing to drive the bus to planned events or other outings
• Support with holiday and special event planning, including themed parties and guest entertainment
• Maintain documentation for resident attendance and activity preferences
• Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop new programs based on resident interests
• Occasionally transport residents to local events or appointments (if applicable)
