Job summary

GeoSearch is seeking a Quality Analyst to support the Geospatial Technology Services department in the US. The role focuses on QA/QC of GIS data and imagery, leading process improvements, and creating technical documentation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in GIS/Remote Sensing and strong ArcGIS Pro experience.

The position offers growth in a multidisciplinary consulting and engineering firm, with exposure to topographic lidar, Orthoimagery, and national elevation programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field.
• 5+ years GIS/Remote Sensing experience.
• Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Pro and TerraScan.
• Experience QA/QC of geospatial products.
• Knowledge of USGS 3DEP/3DHP elevation programs.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• QA/QC of elevation data, imagery, GIS data, and products.
• Provide feedback on all stages of production.
• Create and analyze derivative data layers.
• Support and lead process improvements.
• Create and review reports and metadata.
• Develop internal documentation templates.
