Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a Professional Licensed Surveyor to lead boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and right-of-way projects from proposal through final deliverables. You will supervise field crews, ensure QA/QC, and coordinate with clients and regulators while maintaining schedules and budgets.

Ideal candidates hold a P.L.S. license, a degree in Surveying or related field, 8+ years of experience, and proficiency with Carlson, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and GNSS.

Qualifications

• P.L.S. license in Pennsylvania or reciprocity within a reasonable timeframe.
• 8+ years of progressive survey experience including project management and supervision of survey personnel.
• Strong knowledge of boundary law, deed interpretation, easements, ALTA/NSPS standards, and land development surveys.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, right-of-way, construction stakeout, as-built, and control survey projects from proposal through final deliverables.
• Serve as Surveyor of Record and prepare, review, certify, and seal survey plats, maps, legal descriptions, and related documents.
• Direct and supervise survey field crews, UAV operations, and office technicians to ensure quality, safety, and project efficiency.
• Establish, verify, and maintain survey control networks using GNSS and conventional methods.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of field data, calculations, and final survey products.
• Coordinate survey activities with project managers, engineers, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
