Horrocks is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor in Albuquerque, NM to join our Transportation team. You will work on land development and transportation projects, contributing to large multi-discipline ventures and expanding your surveying experience.

We value community impact and QA/QC excellence. A State Professional Land Surveyor license is required or must be achievable within 1 year. Competitive pay and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in land development and transportation projects is required.
• Municipal projects experience is a plus.
• Must have or be capable of becoming a State Professional Land Surveyor within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Apply field techniques for boundary retracement, design support, and construction surveying.
• Manage multiple projects and staff.
• Retrace and create property boundaries for roads, pipelines, and easements.
• Collect information from maps, surveys, photos, and records to support new surveys.
• Prepare survey computations to validate data quality.
• Stake projects for construction using design plans.
• Contribute to team results as needed.
