Job summary

The State of Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Rural Clinics in Carson City, NV, seeks a Licensed Psychologist II to lead clinical services, supervise Licensed Psychologist I and psychologists, and provide psychotherapy to adults, children and adolescents within a community-based setting.

The role includes consultation with UM/PI teams, program development, and potential research activities. Experience in multicultural practice is desired and training duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Two years post-doctoral experience providing psychological services.
• At least one year supervising clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Administer, score and interpret a wide range of tests; write reports.
• Provide crisis intervention and refer to resources; manage admissions when needed.
• Develop treatment plans; provide individual, family and group therapy; substance abuse counseling.
