Job summary

CPH is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architectural design firm seeking a licensed Professional Engineer for Land Development. The role is full-time with remote Florida work, requiring strong project management, business development, and technical oversight.

The candidate will act as Engineer of Record for design, permitting, and construction administration, supervising engineers, designers, and technicians, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a Florida P.E. license; reciprocity may apply.
• 5+ years of US experience in design and permitting public or private projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Understanding from concept through construction of projects.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in design solutions.
• Stormwater, water distribution, and sanitary sewer design experience.
• Ability to instruct, mentor, and lead others positively.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication, written, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask across projects and manage schedules/budgets.
• Flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with clean record.
• Up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer of Record for design, permitting, and construction administration.
• Prepare accurate presentations, designs, details, and construction documents.
• Oversee design teams including engineers, designers, consultants, and clients.
• Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and project teams.
• Research and implement codes and client requirements.
• Develop and enforce CPH and client standards and templates.
• Prepare specifications and review shop drawings.
• Provide construction administration support as Engineer of Record.
• Travel for business development, project management, site visits, and reporting.
