Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) to collaborate with the BHIP team, coordinate care, and deliver targeted psychosocial interventions for veterans with complex needs.

This role requires a current full license and English proficiency. The position supports veterans across the continuum of care, including crisis response and recovery-focused services.

Qualifications

• Must hold a master\'s or doctoral degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or CACREP-accredited program.
• Current full license to independently practice as a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC).
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Eligible for Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) in accordance with VA policy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the BHIP team to ensure veteran needs are met and support clinical care.
• Provide care coordination and case management across the care continuum.
• Communicate across care lines to facilitate continuity of care for veterans.
• Engage in written and oral communication with leadership and stakeholders regarding policies and practice guidelines.
• Deliver psychosocial interventions for veterans with complex needs and support treatment planning.
