Job summary

UNICO Engineering Inc is seeking a California Licensed Land Surveyor to lead and mentor the Survey Department in our Concord office. The role involves delivering Topographic, ROW, and ALTA surveys, and guiding the team to meet client standards and deliverables.

You will manage field work, data processing, legal descriptions, and title research while supporting professional development and expanding the survey practice regionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in surveying or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
• Professional Land Surveyor designation required.

Responsibilities

• Mapping detailed survey drawings such as Topographic Surveys, Right of Way Mapping, Record of Surveys, Parcel Maps, Final Maps, ALTA/ACSM Surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Download and process field data.
• Perform computations for surveys, plats, easements, etc.
• Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for easement purposes.
• Compile and research title documents and record mapping.
• Possibility to perform survey field work using Trimble Robotic and GPS equipment.
• Project management duties such as proposals, budgets, schedules and billings.
