Job summary
Phoenix House is seeking a Licensed Clinician in Hauppauge, NY to lead clinical services, elevate care quality, and influence client outcomes across the treatment continuum. This role blends clinical expertise with leadership, coaching, and coordination in a multidisciplinary setting.
You will oversee treatment planning, supervise staff, and coordinate with state agencies and community providers to support recovery journeys.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
- Independent license issued by NYS (required).
- CASAC in good standing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists clinical staff in developing treatment plans addressing mental health, substance abuse, education and vocational rehab.
- Conducts regular interdisciplinary case conferences.
- Facilitates workshops and individual or group therapy sessions with clinical staff.
- Oversees patient case management with state/local agencies, school stakeholders, and community providers.
- Reviews staff documentation and supports clinical and recovery programming across all treatment phases.
- Guides progression of patients through the treatment process and discharge planning.
