RISD's Fleet Library seeks a Senior Library Assistant, Circulation & Serials, to help manage our specialized serials collection and ensure smooth Circulation/Reserve Desk operations with knowledgeable customer service. The role supports diverse user needs and contributes to daily library service.

You will supervise student assistants, assist with opening and closing the library, and follow the unique schedule described for academic year and summer sessions.

Senior Library Assistant, Circulation & Serials

Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) seeks a Senior Library Assistant, Circulation & Serials to join Fleet Library.

This position is responsible for processing and maintenance of our specialized serials collection, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Circulation/Reserve Desk and providing knowledgeable customer service. You will assist library users with a variety of needs and inquiries, supervise student assistants, and open and close the library as scheduled.

Please note the unique schedule for this position.

Academic year: Sunday to Thursday, 2pm-10pm

Summer: Monday - Friday 10am-6pm
