Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Senior Liability Trial Attorney to join our in-house Staff Legal team. This role represents commercial insureds in high complexity general liability and commercial auto personal injury cases, requiring strong trial and negotiation skills.

The position supports Zurich's hybrid work model with reporting options to the Maitland, Florida office or work-from-home in the Tampa area, and will handle matters across central Florida, Jacksonville and the Florida

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and 7+ years of experience in Litigation.
• Bar admission in good standing in applicable jurisdictions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
• Experience with Lexis or Westlaw.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and claims environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent commercial insureds in high-exposure general liability and commercial auto cases.
• Perform investigations, legal research, discovery, hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with remote teams using video conferencing and other systems.
• Budget costs and calculate exposure for clients.
