Job summary

AXA XL is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist, TPA Liability to manage high-value liability claims across the United States. You will coordinate with TPAs, adjusters and internal teams to ensure expert handling from coverage to resolution, guiding strategy and mitigating costs.

You will report to the Claims Manager – TPA Liability and collaborate with regional leaders, claim legal, and clients to optimize outcomes and drive improvements in claim performance.

Qualifications

• Advanced claim handling experience with high-value/complex claims management.
• Multi-jurisdictional (U.S.) experience across states.
• Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage a caseload of high-value liability claims across the U.S. for assigned clients.
• Coordinate coverage referrals and compliance with TPAs and internal teams.
• Oversee TPAs in coverage, investigation, evaluation, reserving, recovery and resolution.
• Provide guidance to TPA claim adjusters on major claim phases and outcomes.
• Collaborate with partners to align evaluation of exposure and strategy.
• Consult with regional practice leads and claim legal to optimize outcomes and mitigate costs.
• Perform claim account management, participate in TPA audits, and address service issues with TPAs and clients.
• Communicate claim experience, results and trends with actuarial, reinsurance and underwriting teams.
• Contribute to development of metrics supporting claim audits and external counsel coordination.
