COUNTRY Financial is seeking a senior attorney to represent the organization on claims-related legal matters and to provide counsel to the claims team. You will help manage complex litigation and oversee outside counsel when appropriate.

Based in Bloomington, IL, the role can be hired either remote or hybrid. A hybrid schedule is available for eligible candidates, with in-office collaboration and remote work options to balance the workload.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
• Must have passed the Bar exam.

Responsibilities

• Represents the organization on claims-related legal matters.
• Provides legal advice and counsel to claims personnel.
• Maintains control of files and litigation costs.
• Develops, prepares, and implements claims litigation strategy.
• May attend pertinent trials and oversee outside counsel when needed.
