Senior-level Special Security Technician (Physical Security Support) - CENTCOM

Celestar Corporation is seeking a Senior-level Special Security Technician (Physical Security Support) supporting the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Directorate of Intelligence (J2) located at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida and at various other locations throughout CONUS/OCONUS and the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). Period of Performance: 1 Base Year + 4 Option Years

Location: CENTCOM HQ on MacDill AFB (Tampa, FL)

Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Poly Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Physically inspect and document findings for USCENTCOM SCIF accreditation to identify deficiencies affecting accreditation.
• Perform and maintain annual SCIF inspection checklists.
• Maintain the Open Storage Inspection Program and conduct annual inspections of approved open storage areas.
• Inspect, assess, and draft responses to requests for residential use and storage of sensitive/classified information and equipment; evaluate if residences meet physical security standards.
• Assess residential sites, identify risks, and recommend security improvements.
• Maintain and update SCIF TEMPEST Addendums and Fixed Facility Checklists.
• Manage access badge system and provide customer service at the USCENTCOM visitor center.
• Control access to USCENTCOM facilities, obtain authorization, and grant physical access to personnel and visitors.
• Maintain access control records in the AMAG system.
• Monitor intrusion detection and CCTV systems to prevent unauthorized access.
• Process FVEY Mitigation packages and SCIF accreditation requests.
• Handle exceptions to SCIF policy requests for USCENTCOM.

Minimum Experience and Education

Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, with at least a portion within the last 2 years.

Desired education includes a Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution or a Bachelor’s degree with an additional 5 years of senior experience (total 17 years).
