Role Overview:

This position provides occupational health and safety expertise to a valued client, a national aerospace manufacturer. The role is based at the Orangeburg, SC facility, serving as a Sr. Industrial Hygiene contractor.

This is a full-time, onsite role, with a 4-day workweek, 10-hour days. The initial contract duration is 6-10 months, with potential for extension.

The incumbent will support workplace exposure assessments, safety program management, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Knowledge of safety standards and ability to work independently and in teams are essential.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree + 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience
• Interpersonal and organizational skills
• CIH preferred but not required
• Knowledge of chemicals, toxicology, and safety standards
• Experience with data management and reporting
• Valid driver's license and proficiency in Microsoft Office

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct exposure assessments
• Manage industrial hygiene programs, including Hexavalent Chromium and other standards
• Support safety programs such as hearing conservation, confined space, ventilation, and respiratory protection
• Lead audits, inspections, and investigations
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to deliver solutions
