Job summary

Studio8 Architects in Austin (and San Antonio) seeks a licensed architect with 8–12 years of experience to lead a broad range of commercial architectural and interiors projects. The ideal candidate will guide design, technical development, and client collaboration.

You will manage a team of junior designers, oversee construction documents and administration, ensure quality control, and coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors. LEED experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Qualifications

We are seeking a licensed architect with 8-12 years of experience to join our Austin or San Antonio team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating thoughtful, innovative spaces and will demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Experience in the design and technical development of a variety of commercial architectural and interiors projects
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and other design software
• Strong project management skills and the ability to effectively lead a team of junior designers
• Adept at working on project design, construction documents and construction administration
• Strong focus on quality control
• Experience with contracts, budgeting and scheduling of projects
• Ability to multi-task and work through fast paced projects
• Exceptional graphic and presentation skills
• Strong communication skills with staff, consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure project details are carried out
• Superior client focused service mentality
• Collaborative and a good team player with a positive attitude.
• LEED experience is a plus
