Job summary

Studio8 Architects in Austin or San Antonio seeks a licensed, mid-level Interior Designer with 6-8 years of experience to join our team. You will work on a variety of commercial projects, lead design development, and collaborate with clients, staff, consultants, and contractors.

Responsibilities include creating construction documents, managing project timelines and budgets, and mentoring junior designers while delivering high-quality design outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in design/technical development of commercial projects.
• Licensed interior designer with strong project management experience.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD; able to produce construction documents.
• Strong client communication and QA/QC of documents.
• LEED experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main point of contact for projects and clients.
• Prepare proposals, schedules, budgets, and manage project scope.
• Direct and mentor junior designers.
• Develop and review construction documents and administration.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors.
