As an Appian Developer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), some of your duties will include designing, building, and deploying applications using the Appian low-code automation platform, focusing on workflow automation, data fabric, and user interface design. This role is essential for rapid application development and will require skills in application architecture, process modeling, and integration.
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
13 Years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience
Active TS/SCI with a current CI Polygraph
Minimum of 1 year of experience developing or configuring applications using Appian or similar low-code/no-code platforms
Front-end or back-end software development skills
Familiarity with Agile software delivery methodology.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multitasking abilities and ability to work across the full application development lifecycle.
Experience with REST APIs
Working knowledge of database engineering or backend services to support custom data integrations and migrations
Experience working in AWS cloud environments
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git
Telework/Remote Availability: Limited Telework/Remote Work Authorized
Work Location(s): Reston, VA; Washington, DC; or Annapolis Junction, MD
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
$181,800 - $211,400
