Job summary

Banco Santander SA in the United States is seeking a VP, Transaction Manager for SCIB Lending Products to lead end-to-end deal execution from pre-approval to close. You will coordinate closings across Leveraged Finance and Structured Finance, ensuring KYC/AML compliance, accurate booking data, and smooth front-office collaboration.

The role requires 7–10 years in CIB lending execution, a Bachelor degree, and bank-certified credit training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of leveraged/structured finance, and credit documentation.
• Experience with KYC/AML, booking, funding, and close lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate leveraged, structured, syndicated and other deal closings from post-approval through close.
• Validate approvals, KYC/AML evidence, documentation, borrower onboarding, collateral, pricing and setup.
• Prepare booking packages and resolve funding questions with Back Office and Treasury.
• Coordinate amendments, waivers, and other lifecycle events with multiple teams.
• Develop procedures, training materials, and process maps for the Transaction Management team.
