Job summary

Magnifi Financial Credit Union is seeking a Banking Consultant to interview members for consumer loans and new accounts, educating them on product features and benefits. The role involves using automated underwriting tools, handling deposits, and guiding members across branch, online, and phone channels to optimal financial solutions.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, plus 2 years related finance experience; 3 years in a financial institution is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Two year degree in Sales, Credit or Finance preferred.
• Three years of experience in a financial institution; or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through a minimum of 3 years related work experience including consumer lending and deposit product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Interview and close consumer loans and HELOCs within approved authority.
• Educate members on products and services and recommend suitable solutions.
• Assist members via branch, online, and phone channels; greet and direct to the right partner.
