Role Description

The Senior Lender Commercial Loan Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Durant, OK. This role is responsible for originating, structuring, and managing commercial loan relationships, including gathering financial information, analyzing creditworthiness, and preparing loan proposals. The Senior Lender Commercial Loan Officer will underwrite commercial loans, oversee loan portfolio performance, monitor risk, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. Daily activities include meeting with prospective and existing business clients, providing consultative guidance on credit solutions, coordinating with internal teams to process and close loans, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The role also involves participation in community and business development activities to expand the bank's commercial portfolio and strengthen relationships in the Texoma area.

Qualifications

• Strong underwriting and credit analysis skills, including the ability to evaluate financial statements and assess risk for commercial borrowers.
• Customer service and relationship management skills, with experience building long-term business client relationships.
• Solid finance and banking skills, including familiarity with commercial lending products, cash flow analysis, and collateral evaluation.
• Experience with commercial loans, including origination, documentation, closing, and portfolio management.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a collaborative team environment and make independent credit decisions within delegated authority.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with standard office and banking software systems.
• Prior experience as a commercial lender or loan officer in a community bank or similar institution strongly preferred.
