Job summary

ENS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Legislative Affairs Support Officer to lead engagement with the Legislative Branch, including elected officials and committees. This role advises senior leadership on legislative strategy and coordinates congressional communications and visits.

Responsibilities include developing briefings, reviewing congressional documents, researching legislative activity, and supporting Capitol Hill engagements and logistics to advance NGA priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or a related field is required.
• A master’s degree is highly preferred.
• 15+ years of direct experience in legislative affairs can substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on congressional activities, including hearings and legislation.
• Develop, edit, and provide analysis for congressional documentation and budget materials.
• Research biographical and district information and maintain records of congressional interactions.
• Support training and preparation for Capitol Hill engagements and logistics.
