What you will do:
  • Independently lead the preparation, coordination, and administration of board of trustees/directors and committee meetings, including agendas, meeting materials, minutes, resolutions, written consents, and related communications.
  • Manage complex and high-impact legal workstreams from intake through completion, establishing timelines, coordinating contributors, resolving execution issues, and escalating material concerns as appropriate.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory, legal, and corporate governance requirements to support compliant and consistent execution across assigned matters.
  • Maintain and oversee official corporate and fund records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, including organizational documents, board and committee materials, financial reports, and written consents.
  • Draft, review, and coordinate complex disclosure documents, organizational documents, governance materials, and related legal work product, identifying inconsistencies and recommending revisions.
  • Coordinate support for regulatory examinations and information requests, including document collection, review, tracking, stakeholder follow‑up, and status reporting.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate regulatory filings and reports, and independently manage filing calendars, dependencies, and completion controls.
  • Lead the coordination of registration statements, supplements, and related filings, partnering with attorneys, business teams, clients, and external service providers as needed.
  • Review and negotiate agreements related to the distribution and servicing of funds offered by SEI or its clients on intermediary platforms, escalating substantive legal issues for attorney review.
  • Provide experienced support on day‑to‑day and complex legal matters involving SEI investment solutions, regulated subsidiaries, and corporate governance activities.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter resource for colleagues, promote knowledge sharing, and support onboarding, training, and development of less‑experienced team members.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, templates, controls, technology use, and documentation standards; lead or contribute to implementation of approved improvements.
  • Build effective relationships with Legal and Compliance colleagues, business partners, clients, and external service providers to clarify requirements, manage expectations, and ensure timely, accurate, and effective delivery of legal services.
  • Support team continuity by providing coverage across workstreams, advising on priorities, and helping resolve operational issues during periods of increased volume or complexity.
Job Scope & Decision‑Making:

Works independently on routine, moderately complex, and complex matters within established policies, procedures, regulatory frameworks, and supervisory guidance. Exercises substantial judgment in planning work, prioritizing competing demands, interpreting established requirements, resolving execution issues, and recommending practical courses of action. Anticipates risks, dependencies, and stakeholder needs and takes proactive steps to maintain quality, timeliness, and continuity of service. Serves as a senior escalation and consultation resource for operational, procedural, and subject‑matter questions within areas of expertise. Determines when matters require escalation and provides clear issue framing, relevant background, options, and a recommended path for consideration by attorneys or senior legal leadership. May lead projects, workstreams, or cross‑functional initiatives and coordinate the work of others without formal direct‑report responsibility. Does not hold final decision‑making authority for legal positions or interpretations and partners with attorneys and other authorized senior legal professionals for legal conclusions and approvals.

What we need from you:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
  • Significant experience in legal services, compliance, corporate governance, or business management within a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex workstreams and deliver accurate, high‑quality work product under regulatory and operational deadlines.
  • Advanced organizational, analytical, communication, and writing skills, with strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes, coordinate across stakeholders, and identify and resolve issues without relying on formal authority.
  • Experience mentoring colleagues, sharing subject‑matter knowledge, or supporting training and process consistency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in investment management, financial services, registered investment products, and/or corporate governance.
  • Experience supporting mutual funds, exchange‑traded funds, closed‑end funds, collective investment trusts, or regulated financial entities.
  • Experience with board and committee governance, regulatory filings, disclosure review, intermediary or distribution agreements, and regulatory examination support.
  • Experience leading process improvements, technology‑enabled workflow enhancements, or cross‑functional legal operations initiatives.
