Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP seeks a Legal Project Manager to lead the firm’s LPM core services for large institutional clients. You will partner with client operations, attorneys, and finance to scope, budget, forecast, and monitor billing guidelines while delivering routine reporting and issue escalation.

Responsibilities include developing playbooks, dashboards, and training to improve efficiency, profitability, and client experience across matters and teams.

Qualifications

• Seven (7)+ years of experience in legal project management or legal operations within a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Leadership experience supporting distributed teams (3+ years).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve execution, efficiency, and accuracy of legal projects focusing on process improvement and client experience.
• Document and maintain current and future-state workflows and handoffs for consistent execution.
• Set up and maintain budgets and AFAs, manage budget-to-actuals, accruals, forecasting, and billing guidance.
