Verisk Analytics’ LCARS team seeks an experienced Legal Operations Manager to partner with the Head of LCARS Operations and support the CLO’s functions. This role blends hands-on operational leadership, project management, and a data-driven approach to departmental performance.

You will drive budgeting, contracting operations, knowledge management, and AI-driven process enhancements, while mentoring internal teams and coordinating cross-functional initiatives to optimize legal operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant operations experience, preferably within a corporate or in-house legal department.
• Contracting operations background; Salesforce, CLM platforms, and workflow tools are highly preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting or reforecasting, expense tracking, and financial reporting experience.
• Experience defining performance metrics and building dashboards with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Practical experience applying AI to business workflows; familiarity with AI agents and tools like Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT.

Responsabilités

• Operational Leadership: Coordinate day-to-day work across LCARS, translate priorities into plans and balance needs with improvements.
• Project & Program Management: Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning to implementation with clear success metrics.
• Financial & Spend Management Support: Assist budgeting, forecasting, accruals and outside counsel spend using ELM tools.
• Contracting Operations & Vendor Management: Improve contracting workflows using Salesforce and related tools.
• Knowledge Management: Maintain accessible, well-owned information frameworks across LCARS.
• Performance Metrics & Reporting: Define metrics and build dashboards; drive data quality and resource planning.
• Process Analysis & Optimization: Map processes, identify bottlenecks, and streamline workflows.
• Technology, Automation & Applied AI: Evaluate and implement AI solutions, pilot projects, and plan adoption.
• Intern & Co-op Program Management: Oversee LCARS intern and co-op programs, mentor participants.
