Job summary

Wintermeyer Ventures is seeking a legal technology product professional to shape AI-assisted workflows across legal, customer, and product functions. You will convert complex legal needs into dependable onboarding workflows while improving platform quality and usability.

You will review AI-flagged issues for accuracy, translate user feedback into product requirements, and refine prompts and automation to boost reliability. Remote US-based role with SF as primary location.

Qualifications

• Three to eight years of experience in legal practice or legal technology product roles.
• A JD, legal practice background, or substantial legal technology experience with the ability to interpret contracts and assess legal workflows.
• Product ownership experience, including managing workflows, owning deliverables, or translating user needs into product improvements.

About the Role

Join a legal technology team working across legal, customer, and product functions. You will turn complex legal needs into dependable AI-assisted workflows, helping customers onboard smoothly while improving the quality and usability of the platform.

What You'll Do

• Map customer commercial needs into tailored legal workflows and support end-to-end onboarding.
• Review and validate AI-flagged legal issues for accuracy and completeness across documents and filings.
• Translate customer feedback and lawyer needs into clear product requirements for engineering.
• Improve prompts, workflow modules, and automated processes to make the platform more reliable.
• Use CLI tools, Claude Code, and MCP-based workflows to build and refine legal processes without requiring deep software engineering.

What We're Looking For

• Three to eight years of experience in legal practice or legal technology product roles.
• A JD, legal practice background, or substantial legal technology experience with the ability to interpret contracts and assess legal workflows.
• Product ownership experience, including managing workflows, owning deliverables, or translating user needs into product improvements.
• Familiarity with AI and LLM workflows, prompt engineering, and tools such as Claude Code, MCP servers, or CLI tools.
• Strong product judgment, customer focus, and comfort taking ownership in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Experience in legal technology, law firm innovation, startup legal teams, or software implementation and onboarding is valued.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $150,000 to $225,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Remote within the United States, with San Francisco, California as the primary location.
