Job summary

Mercor is hiring experienced legal reviewers to create rubrics and perform quality control on large volumes of processed legal documents. This role focuses on verification across contracts, HR records, IP agreements, regulatory filings, corporate records, and more.

You will build clear rubrics, apply them to documents, and flag any defects or ambiguous cases for adjudication, ensuring precise handling of identifying and sensitive elements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ post-qualification experience as a lawyer.
• Comfort across multiple document types.
• Experience in managed document review or data privacy is a plus.
• Ability to follow and improve written protocols.
• High-volume, precise and consistent work.

Responsibilities

• Create rubrics to grade documents so they are understandable to laypeople.
• Review processed legal documents against a QC rubric and verify handling of elements.
• Flag defects and ambiguous cases for adjudication.
