Job summary

Mercor is seeking experienced legal reviewers to develop rubrics and execute quality control on large volumes of processed legal documents. This is a review and verification role focusing on accuracy rather than drafting or advisory.

You will handle a broad range of document types, applying strict protocols and improving processes where needed. A US-based lawyer with 3+ years of PQE is preferred, with an emphasis on precision in high-volume work.

Qualifications

• US-based, qualified lawyer with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience or equivalent
• Comfort moving across many document types and modalities
• Experience in managed document review, e-discovery, contract management, or data privacy is a strong advantage

Responsibilities

• Create rubrics to grade legal documents for layman understanding
• Review documents against a written QC rubric, ensuring identifying/sensitive elements are correctly handled
• Flag defects and categorize ambiguous cases for adjudication
