Job summary

CHEP seeks a Senior Legal Counsel - Supply Chain / Procurement to advise cross-functional teams across North America on contracts, vendor disputes, and regulatory matters. You will help shape risk management, due diligence, and strategic transactions in a fast-paced operating environment.

The role focuses on procurement, supply chain, real estate, and operations with a remote US-based work arrangement, preference for Eastern or Central regions.

Qualifications

• J.D. and bar membership in at least one U.S. or Canada jurisdiction.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited law school.
• Significant in-house or law firm procurement, logistics, real estate and supply-chain transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and issue-spotting abilities in complex environments.
• Experience in fast-paced operating environments, preferably industrial/logistics.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations and Real Estate teams.
• Draft, review, negotiate procurement agreements and master services agreements.
• Support vendor disputes, service failures and pre-litigation issues.
• Assist strategic transformation initiatives involving third parties and network changes.
• Escalate significant risk matters to General Counsel as appropriate.
