Job summary

Satair, a global aviation services company, seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to provide legal and compliance guidance to operations and business functions, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and policies. You will support transactional activities, compliance initiatives, governance matters, and disputes management across our US and international operations.

The role requires a JD, admission to a US state bar, 7+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited Law school.
• 7+ years' experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
• Admission to a US state bar and in good standing.
• Travel Required: 10% Domestic and International
• Able to work in the US without current or future need for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Transactional Support: Partner with cross-functional teams to execute commercial transactions and manage associated risk.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contract documents for sales, asset acquisitions, general procurement, leasing, consignment and other commercial transactions for aviation products and services.
• Manage deal closings and CP documentation for aircraft, airframe and engine purchase and leasing transactions.
• Draft, maintain and periodically update contract templates and forms.
